Hey guys,

First time poster, long time reader.

Just want to see if I played this hand correctly.

dean666: -- --
Chaos_ult: Qh Kc
sethypooh21: -- --

Pre-flop:

kenc folds. dean666 folds. Chaos_ult calls.
sethypooh21 folds. Littlepickle folds. Barcelonan
folds. NicholasJ checks. chameleongirl calls.
lizardride calls. ahodge23 checks.

Flop (board: Kh 6d 6c):

lizardride checks. ahodge23 checks. Chaos_ult bets
$1. NicholasJ calls. chameleongirl folds.
lizardride folds. ahodge23 calls.

Turn (board: Kh 6d 6c 4s):

ahodge23 checks. Chaos_ult bets $2. NicholasJ
calls. ahodge23 folds.

River (board: Kh 6d 6c 4s 7c):

I'm never too sure on what to do with KQo before the flop.

NicholasJ wins with full house, sixes full of kings.

I'd raise KQo after a few folders in most games.

You played it fine after the flop. When you are raised on the river you are almost definitely beaten, but you only have to win about 11% of the time (I count 9 bets in the pot and you only have to call 1, so 1/9 = about 11%) to make the call profitable. People make all kinds of strange raises in these games so you should win more than that.

Raise before the flop with KQo. You may have knocked him out with a bet with only K6o.

I think you played it fine. You were never told that you were beaten until it was too late.

Very often you'll play the same way except you'll just get called on the river and your hand will be good.

But in the future, you may want to change the names if you're going to post hand histories.
