I'm thinking about taking a crack at the lucy Jones today. Would I have a shot playing say 2 nl25's and a .5/1.? I could play 3 nl 25's, but it would be very tough with my monitor(one game on screen)I can play 2 pretty well, the third table I'd need to muck all but gravy situations, thus .5/1. and hope to break even there.

Would 3 nl25's even be enough? or is it a strict SH game thing? Not sure I could keep up with 3 6max tables like this.

i regularly play 3 6max tables anyway, not shooting for some lucy jones bonus or whatever.. i find it very manageable.

Yeah, I could probably play 3 or 4, but not with only seeing one table at a time. My guess would be you have a better monitor, or maybe you're a true sage.

you're right, my monitor is 19 inches.. not huge or anything, but i have the res. at 1024x768 so i can see 3 tables with overlap. i overlap it just right so that i can easily click and see any table at any time. it works...

Well this didn't draw much interest, but I'll post my (non)results anyways.

After 30 minutes I thought it could work (ranked 41st) 30 minutes later I had dropped 30 places and almost folded top set on the flop in a pl25. (thank you "are you sure you want to fold")

Bottom line for anyone interested in trying this w/o playing SH games, not likely!

When they ran it awhile back i kept getting 21st-25th playing 3 full tables of 2/4. Today, as of 7:45, i am ranked in 71st...11 raked hands from the $40. It looks like more people are trying to catch this bonus. I just shoot for the extra $40. The great thing about this bonus is that it keeps me from being lazy....im assurd 1500 hands this way and there is no slacking off on my part /images/graemlins/grin.gif The extra $40 is my bonus for putting in a hard day of work.

Hmm that's pretty interesting. I figured dropping 30 places in a mere half hour meant I was dead in the water. maybe it was just the fact that 2 of my tables seemed to really slow down(and just miss rake several times). I should have stuck with it another hour or so I guess.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm running a 19" at 1600-1200. That lets me play up to 4 tables with no overlap. However, I admit to feeling taxed at 3. I'll be trying the Lucy Jones thing with "just" 2 SH tables and gratefully taking $20 or $40. Yesterday (Tuesday) I took 20 in four hours of 2-3 tables.

Actually, this bonous thing really made me stick to the grind yesterday. Consistent, significant winning has escaped me so far. My problem might be getting dissuaded/dispirited during those inevitable bad times. Locking in to playing SH for 9 hours (with breaks, thankyou)could be the ticket.
