View Full Version : Seattle Poker Revisited

Okay, I've noticed that there are quite a number of posters that live in the Seattle area. I'm one of them, but I seem to be the only one that's under the age of 30. And not only have I not hit middle-age, I haven't hit the legal drinking age yet. (Yes, I have hit puberty.) So since I'm not able to accept invitations to go to the Muck, I was wondering if any of you fellow Seattle-ites would be interested in having a home game sometime?

Maybe this belongs in another forum, I don't know...

I'd like to meet some of you and sit at a decent table for once. I wouldn't mind donating if it meant facing some tough opponents that I could learn a lot from.

Anyways, just throwing it out there.

I would be interested in that, as long as it wasn't for too much money /images/graemlins/smile.gif

got - It would have to be nickle dime because playing for anything else would be nutty with the local crew.

My bankroll's a little tight for $500/$1000, but how about 5/10?

Sounds interesting, but 5/10 against a bunch of veterans, old hands and carpal tunnels is waaay over my limit. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks like something's going to come together over Christmas Break. PM me if you might be interested.

Also, post a reply to this with what stakes you'd like to play for. Majority will rule. I'm down with anything from 1/2 up to 5/10.

Id be down for a home game. Lower limits would be better. We arn't playing to take each others money, but to increase our skills in a tough game.

I'd be up for a local home game to check out Seattle 2+2ers, anything from $1-$2 to $5-$10 is fine by me. Keep me posted.

I'm with bernie, we keep score with money.

I'm with both of ya's. I'll be there to make this month's rent. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

We could still use a couple more players, so PM me if interested. The game will most likely be 1/2 Limit Hold'em.

I'd be very interested in joining a regular home game in Seattle. Seems there is some light debate on the limits- I'd prefer around $1/$2. I host my own home game already, although it's very lightweight, so I'm looking to stretch my legs a little. PM me about hosting if needed (I live near Fremont).

Thanks!

Too bad I live in Vancouver, with this group, I am certain it would be worth the drive.

Interesting that you posted about possibly hosting this event, because it turns out I won't be able to. I was planning on moving into a new apartment this week, but things have changed and I'll most likely be moving down to California at the end of the month, so no new apartment up here for me.

If anybody else is interested in hosting, let me know! Fremont isn't very far for most of us it looks like, so it would be a good choice.

Does this next weekend, the 27th or 28th, work alright with everybody?
