UB $20 multi, 85 players, 40 left, I am in 5th with about T4800.

I have just been moved to this table, so no reads, I am in CO with AJo.

Chip leader who has me covered three times raises the 100 BB to 300 from UTG.

All fold to me, I look at his stack of T14800 and my AJo which is a hand I become less and less fond of as time goes on, and I fold.

No drama here, Button, SB, and BB all fold so I have no idea what I folded to.

Was I too weak? Or admirably prudent?

Easy, easy fold this early in the tourney.

Hi Doug,

Y'know that scene in the old TV series "The Magician" where Bill Bixby would flick the card to slice off a candle or some such? (Nah, you're probably too young, and it wasn't that popular a show even when it was on.)

Well ... I'd flick those two cards in exactly that way in that situation....

Translation: smart fold.

Hey Cris,

Actually I'm old enough to have watched My Favorite Martian in the original run.

But my acientness aside, I wonder today why I even had a question about that fold at the time. With a night's sleep it's obvious this is a fold, but I do find it interesting that in the heat of the game (if that's what you want to call lying on my sofa playing on-line poker) I really condisered calling with it.

Anyway, thanks all for the confirmation, it's amazing how much less good AJo and AQo look with experience.
