Tight and loose measure of the number of hands a player plays, with tight players playing fewer than loose players.

Passive and aggressive measure the amount of betting and raising a player does. Aggressive players bet and raise more than passive players, who more often check and call.

I highly recommend The Psychology of Poker by Schoonmaker who lays out the four types of players--loose passive, loose aggressive, tight passive and tight aggressive--with strategies to beat each type as well as suggestions for improving upon whatever type you happen to be.

I strongly suggest you read "psychology of poker," by Al Schoonmaker. You obviously would benefit greatly. All such terms are explained in detail.
