I posted this in the General forum and it was suggested I post it here as well.

I am going to be in Seattle this Sunday through Wednesday and I was thinking of playing poker on Tuesday night after work. I was looking for suggestions of where to play (I'm staying downtown) and wondering if any 2+2'ers might be there.

I was out in Seattle this summer and played at the Muckleshoot. It is about a 20 minute drive from Seattle. It was a very very soft 10-20 game. They also had 15-30 or 20-40. Send a PM to Majorkong, he use to live there and can give you all the goods.

Also, make sure you have the pancakes for breakfast and the blackened salmon sandwich at the farmers market. Two of the best meals I have ever had. And both were less than $5.

Muckleshoot or Hideaway. I usually play at Hideaway. It has 7 tables and always have a 10-20 game and a few 4-8 games going. Evenings will usually see 5-6 tables going, with 2 10-20 games. All games are very soft.

From downtown, you can get to the Shoreline neighborhood (N Seattle) in just a few minutes, depending on traffic. There are a bunch of mini-casinos in that area, and some of them are starting to spread poker.

Other options- Diamond Lil's in Renton (probably 15-20 minutes from Seattle without traffic) has 12 or so tables with Hold 'Em and Omaha.

FYI- Muckleshoot is more like 45 minutes from Downtown Seattle. If you go during rush hour (up to about 6:30 or 7 pm), you can double that time.

Might take a look at this thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=428638&page=0&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=31&fpart=1) as well.

Welcome to Seattle...bad time of year to be here weatherwise, but enjoy while you can!

The hideaway is a total dive but the games are very soft.

45 minutes, really? I don't remember it taking that long to get to the Muckleshoot. I only went once when I was there and this is 6 months ago so what do I know.

I also went at like 10PM so there was no traffic.

It is probably 25 miles from downtown Seattle...if you went late at night and missed traffic, you might be able to cut it down do 30-35 minutes (or less if you have a heavy foot and disregard for local traffic ordinances! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Getting through the South End (especially if you take 167) is a nightmare anywhere near rush hour though.

Try to get to La Center, WA.
