View Full Version : question for Ray Zee

Ray,

I've been serious about my poker game for about a year now- it was scary to read your essay

in Card Player last year on the topic of novice

metamorphosing into strong player, as I'd just finished the wild/tight-unimaginative stages and was heading towards loose-aggressive, via mainly online experience.

In loose-aggressive mode, I had some good sessions and some bad and feel I learnt a lot from

it all.

My question is this: since I'm only able to get to the nearest casino worth mentioning(Foxwoods- five hours' drive away) two to four times a year, and am striving to improve my game, what can I do? I own most of the Wilson software

and practise with it, while knowing full well the

programs can't equal live- game conditions.

I'd appreciate any input on this.

find a home game or possibly explore the internet poker if you chose. also there may well be something closer, so post on the exchange forum for help in games in your area.

read more books and good luck.

Ray,

Thanks for your response- I actually host a home game an average of twice a month, but find myself getting bored; it's nothing like casino

games would be.
