Just a shout out to the 2+2ers that I will be in AC this upcoming weekend Fri, Dec. 12-14th. I should be getting into AC around 9 PM Friday evening.

I'm calling for a 2+2 meet up on Friday Night or Saturday afternoon. Those that are interested respond here or PM me and I'll get you my cell-#.

I'll cross post this in B&M.

Looking forward to it.

Peace,
JT

I've never been there and Saturday there is this bacholar party I'm attending. Where will you be, when things settle out on Saturday I'll be looking to head back to the tables.

Peace,
Joe

I'll come down on whichever night it looks like more 2+2ers will be around. I'd prefer to go to the Borgata, but the Taj is fine too.

You still have my cell number?

Yes. However, it is traditional to turn it on more than once a week. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hope to see you. Where should I play? Not the Trop I guess?

Peace,
JT

Stay away from the Trop.

Check out the Borgata.

However, it is traditional to turn it on more than once a week.

As soon as I get a life, I promise to turn it on at least twice a week.

Where should I play? Not the Trop I guess?

Definitely not the Trop, either the Taj or Borgata. Borgata has a more luxurious room, newer tables/chips, more comfortable chairs, better drinks (beer in bottles, liquor in actual glasses), hotter CW's, nicer players, whereas the Taj has more/better games (not by much though, at least at the limits I've played) and a better snack bar. Also, I don't know what stakes you're playing live now, but Borgata has a 6-12, whereas Taj has a 5-10. Both have a 10-20.

Personally, I prefer the Borgata.

Sounds right on, to me. So I'll head to the Borgata on Friday night and stick around the Trop on Saturday as my no-tell-hotel is near the Trop.

I'll be in the Borgata by 10.30PM on Friday. I'll PM all who have replied my cell number.

Peace,
JT

I've only visited Borgata a couple times, but it's always seemed to me that the 10/20 was softer than the 6/12. Have you found this as well, or was that just pokergod looking out for me? I guess it's also possible I was just annoyed that the 6/12 is played with red and whites, so I felt like I was watching a change-making competition, not a poker game.

Every time I've played that 6/12, I've noticed some hustler-type tyring to get into the 10/20 instead. It has often looked like the "liver" game.

The last time I played, though, it looked like a lot of the horrendous 3/6 regulars had decided to start playing 6/12. There seemed to be fewer strong playing "regulars," too. I posted about the change, and other people seemed to have noticed it too.

Has anyone played there in the past 5 weeks or so and noticed a difference?

Good, because i just booked a room there for the weekend. Oddly enough, only my play can count towards the poker rate, my girlfriend's can't. Very odd. I think when we check-in I'll add her name to the reservation and see if we can amend that. I haven't been to the room and haven't played live since vegas so I'm excited. Yeah baby.

See you guys friday.

Tonight at the Borgata 10PM 2+2 late dinner is planned.

Saturday here seems to be a few that would like to play the 'Pink Game' and maybe at the Taj.

I've got a few PMs rolling, if there are others you can PM me up till 2PM.

Peace,
JT

Naw, I've been playing just enough shorthanded recently to screw up my full ring game to the point that I don't think you'll be able to call me weak-tight any longer.

Interesting, so you'll be 3-betting w/AJo, cool!

Doesn't JTG have that move patented? But you have to make sure you catch a running boat to make it authentic.

Btw, poker terms are very entertaining. I didn't think I would ever use the term "catch a running boat" prior to poker life. Or after I started playing for that matter.

No, that's Joe's move. He likes to tell the story of when he 3-bet my UTG raise with AJo.

I was A /images/graemlins/spade.gifJ /images/graemlins/spade.gif, in retrospect it was one of the best 3-bets I've ever made. I learned a lot from it and it's shown it's EV since.

Is that my 3-bet or Joe Tall's 3-bet? I like 3-betting you like that too. You have to specify which Joe.
