I hope this is the correct place to post this....

How do you put a link to an old thread into your post? It appears that you can't just cut and paste from the address bar because each post does not have a unique address. So what am I missing?

They do. You may be reading the post in 'flat mode'. If you look at the old thread and on the upper right, change it to 'threaded mode' you can copy the link out of the address heading in your bowser. Then use the 'URL' function in the 'Instant UBB Code' area and follow the intructions, giving it a name of your choice.

The trick I've been using is instead of going to the thread, right-click on the link and choose properties. Then copy the URL from there.
