In my short time of playing in a casino, I found that, all things being equal, the best seats are 2, 3, 8, and 9 for a couple of reasons.
First, a lot of careless players flash their cards clearly when they pick the cards up or about to muck their cards - they lift them off, tilt them toward the table, etc.. (I am forming the habit of not looking at my cards until it is my time to act).
Second, I get a good view of the entire table and can observe players' action during the entire deal.
I guess this agree with Art Santella's article in PD. Any other thoughts?
