I was actually curious about this before and went on a hunt in the user list of the founders. Ray Zee was like 6 and Chuck Weinstock was 7. Never did find 1. I gave up before too long.

Nice. you're a quick one.

No #1. sad. Weird to see MG_in_NJ is 7, MS_Sunshine is 8 and Clarkmeister is 12. Old school and still kickin' around.

Weird to see MG_in_NJ is 7,

Why do you find this "weird"?

I find it weird to see very active members that were the first to sign up. Probably because I used to work at a website that had message boards and users etc, and finding someone with a userId < 100,000 was nearly impossible. But that was before 2+2 had logins when I posted very rarely and lurked rarely also.

2+2 didn't have a true registration until they loaded the new software, which was around 9/3/02. The 2+2 forums have been around for much longer than that. Many of the truly oldschool guys aren't around anymore, and many old schoolers left when 2+2 changed their software.

People like Clarkmeister and Dynasty have been around for quite some time though.

I remember them from when I would lurk. I remember MG too. I probably would remember more but I would drop in about twice a month and only read the small-stakes. At that time there was a mid-stakes and high stakes forum, they weren't combined. One person I remember and who's posts I do miss reading are those of Dave in Cali and I wonder what happened to him. I hope Dynasty and Clark don't disappear also as they have become more scarce.

I was around back when Dave in Cali was posting a lot in the LL forums. I miss his posts, and his insight. Dynasty and Clarkmeister learned a lot from him as well, if i remember correctly.
