geez.. that is me today. i play online 2/4 @ party.. usually 2 tables and do fairly well. but today for some reason it seems that everytime i had high cards..... the flop was horrible for me... all one suit.. or all low cards with a raise and than a re-raise... or if i had KK... an ace on the flop...... or if i had JJ... the flop would be KQ7 or something!

ahhh, this is fustrating...

what do you do when you know you are playing good cards.. but nothing is going your way?

a day? it happened to me for around 2 months give or take a week or so..i had several sessions of around a hundred hands where i would'nt have even had a pair if i had have stayed in..it was unbelieveable..see my thread "Should i give it up?"

Day!? I read this Zen poker book and dropped over a dime on very low limit games in about 7 days! Burned the book, my luck changes.

OK, about a month later, I take out a withdrawl from a popular site and proceed to lose a Nickel with ease ... I am talking AA losing to 33, no joke. Lost every bet, every hand, every great flop … at will.

I see this and drop to .50/1 games as well as 5 SNG's. Can't win a 1 man race! I deny it till the end and say that odds are that "my cards will come." I keep playing for this 48 hour period.

I lose every dollar in my account for the 1st time. I cure out the site! & swear I will never play again! /images/graemlins/frown.gif

One day later, I deposit $50 in that same site. (1/10 of my original deposit). 1st tourn, a $5 SNG, my AA knocked off by JJ taht sets on the flop and Quad on the river.

What do I do ... type "This is the best site on the web." "No site is anywhere near as good as *****." Nothing but love.

From then on I HIT EVERYTHING. My TT's are taking down 4-card flush draws, AK is running down QQ at will! Every flop! I am flopping nut straights & full boats! Pocket 3's on the blind run with 33! I win plenty o' cash and come in FIRST in a 400 player qualifier. ALL IN THE SAME DAY. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am not saying anything about deposits/ bad typing's or buttering up the web host. All that I am saying is that streaks come and go!

ive been playing at ub lately for a 100$ bonus and havent hit anything(lost 200$ before today. today i log on play 3 .50/1 tables to try and finish the darn bonus and i win 125$ in 2 hours all together + whatever part of the bonus i finished. streaks happen. notice that i was playing .50/1 tables not my normal 1/2 or 2/4 thats what you do when the cards arent hitting you you scale back unless youve got plent left in your roll to ride it out where you are.
