I seem to have trouble in shorthanded games(4 or less) where one player raises nearly every time he is on the button. These players are typically very agressive after the flop as well(i.e. they bet all the time, will call with nothing if you bet, and will raise you with nothing as well as call your raises with nothing) What is the best way to handle these types of players? It seems that you dont make enough hands to be able to just call them down and defeat them by letting them hang themselves. It is difficult because they usually have position anyways. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

dont play shorthanded w them. the loose aggressives thrive in a short game. The only short game i will play is if others are passive, and allow me to be the maniac /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
you will make most of your money in this game by stealing from your opponents. Its a real pain when some1 else is trying to steal as well.

i like the first reply but there is too loose and too aggressive

the simple solution is to show him a bigger knife when the time is right
