In Hold'em, how much more likely are you to get a straight if your cards are consecutive rank, as opposed to one gap or two gaps?

The best way to think about this is to consider which three
card combinations can occur on the board that yields a
straight. Clearly, with an AK only a QJT combination will
fit the bill whereas with JT, one of AKQ, KQ9, Q98, 987 so
there are four combinations here.

For one gappers then, there can be at most 3 combinations
and for two gappers only at most two and for three gappers
obviously one. Of course, sometimes a one gapper can only
have one such combination: e.g., AQ.

Hope this clarifies everything.
