Two things I've noticed so far:

1) The problem re crashes when entering a table via a waiting list is still there, only more frequent now (100% failure rate today).

2) There seems to be a lag on the site. It takes a few seconds for my action to register (I keep getting time warnings seconds after I've hit the buttons). I asked at the table I'm on and others are having the same problem.

1 is a pain only if you lose your seat. 2 is the more irritating problem as its making the action painfully slow at the moment.

I noticed that last night. Made betting seem excruciatingly slow. Betting speed for calling or raising can be a tool and this problem takes some of that away.

2 has been happening a lot since the upgrade.

I'm a bit down on the whole OIC thing since the RGPers tainted it by allegedly finishing it before it started, etc. Coupled with the commercialism Jason posted about before, I feel like its lost its roots and any purity it had. Its kind of like the college bowl games. they used to be fun and all the major ones were on Jan 1st, now the Orange bowl is on the 4th and only the BCS ones really matter, blah blah...its just gone to crap. The college championship problem is still crap but now the bowls have even become stupid.

Anyway enough of my rant. I was really hoping the OIC wouldn't become little more than a bonus whoring opportunity but it feels like little more than that now. Maybe I'll make a side bet to get me to try harder but the motivation is sorely lacking. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

2) I Put a BB on that this has something to do with the $500 freeroll. It has started to get so popular so it always have maximum number of players regged (1200).That tourney starts 2pmEST. This problem started at the same time as the software upgrade, which were at the same point the popularity for this tourney started to rise. Earlier it usually only was abt. 500-800 playing. Seems like the servers don't have the capacity for it! The problem disappears when the tourney has been running for an hour or so and 50% has been knocked out.

It's almost certainly the Freeroll... I played in it last weekend (came in 36th, made $2 /images/graemlins/smile.gif ) and for the first hour, everyone was lagging horribly, I think we may have gotten about 15 hands in total in that hour... once people started dropping it was much better.

Basically, avoid playing when the freerolls are since all the fish will be in the freeroll (especially since only fish like me would be interested in a $500 freeroll with 1200 people /images/graemlins/smile.gif )

Thanks Sherriff and others for the feedback. We're onto Prima like a cheap suit at the moment now that we've read this and other posts on the topic. We'll report back once we have a resolution.
