Hello everyone,

here is a hand i played last night. the game is the usual 10-20 hold'em game in New York. Loose and passive for the most part and there was NO tough spot this time! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

i got 88 utg+1. (should i raise?) UTG limps. i re-limp. Another LP limps, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop brings T96 rainbow. all check to me and i bet. bad? all called.

Turn was J. UTG bets, I fold. would anyone call?

all comments are welcome, thanks.

PF was just all calls no raise right?

after flop, i'd check and fold to a raise...

staying for a 8 (2 outs) or 7 (4 outs)? Nah....

if 8 hits, easy and very likely str8 out there... 11.5 to one shot then for your 7... and KQ [a popular holding] still beats you...

bad situation, I am out...

I think you played it fine. You could also check the flop with the intention of calling one bet but not two, since you don't mind a free card here at all.

Hi Kenny,

i got 88 utg+1. (should i raise?)

In a loose/passive game I would just limp in.

Flop brings T96 rainbow. all check to me and i bet. bad?

Facing 4 opponents with a coordinated flop like this (especially given that there was no pre-flop raise) I would just check behind.

Turn was J. UTG bets, I fold. would anyone call?

This is an easy fold. How did the hand play out?

i didn't pay attention after i fold. good habbit? like after i fold a trash hand before the flop, i never pay much attention to flop. a lot of people like saying "i would have flop two pair with my J4o". to me, that's really silly. hehe
