Comments? Another SH, but I was wondering what anyone thinks about the PF raise with 88 here?

5 handed this is a must raise. No question.

Also well-played. Great value bet on the end - I don't think I would have made it because i'm gutless, but I think it was a solid bet.

Would you have checked and called? If so you might as well bet because you can safely fold to a raise against a sane opponent.

Well played on all streets. You have to raise 88 here as it is unlikely you will get enough limpers to play it for a set.

I'm saying I would have checked and called because I would have chickened out at the sight of the second overcard and made an incorrect play. Chickening out on value bets might be the biggest hole in my game, so I was applauding him for making a good bet.

Funny thing is...... I STILL have no idea on what makes up a value bet.......
