$1/2 45% see the flop, fairly passive.

I am dealt J /images/graemlins/club.gif T /images/graemlins/spade.gif on the button.

EMP limps, I limp, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop is 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif T /images/graemlins/heart.gif

SB checks, BB bets, EMP folds, I reraise, BB calls.

Turn is 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

BB checks, I check.

River is 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

BB checks, I check.

OK, let me have it.

I'll go with 3 mistakes.

Preflop: Fold, or raise a weak opponent w/ tight blinds
Flop: Good
Turn: Easy bet
River: Easy bet

Could you elaborate a bit?

Preflop: Fold, or raise a weak opponent w/ tight blinds

A raise wasn't likely to get rid of the blinds, nor the EMP.

Turn: Easy bet

After the flop, I put him on either Tx or a flush draw. I didn't think he would have AT, but KT or QT was possible.
When the turn came, I thought he might be going for the checkraise of the made flush.

River: Easy bet

This is where I think I screwed up the most. If he made the flush, he would have be the river here. *sigh*
Is my thinking close to correct or am I way off base?

preflop: it's still a marginal hand. as already mentioned, raising a weak limp + foldable blinds would be preferred

flop: you didn't reraise, you raised

turn: you just gave the deuce of hearts a free flush draw. bet.

river: bet

OK, you asked for it /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Preflop I would fold or raise. If you can't play JTo well postflop --> fold pre-flop.

Good raise on the flop. Bet the turn!!! When he calls the turn bet you can always check behind on the river if another /images/graemlins/heart.gif comes, else bet the river also.

I will put him on a flush draw or a 7 with a good kicker.
