just use Mozilla as your web browser. I've also heard the google tool bar does a good job.

Thank you, Boris...I downloaded Mozilla. It seems to work quite well.

I have been using this for over 2 years and it's freeware.

POW! get at www.analogx.com (http://www.analogx.com)

While there try Cookie Wall as well, everything there is free, both are my favorites, they take some interaction on your part but once used to them they are a breeze and you AVOID killing pop ups that you want.

I also recently bought V-COM's System Suite v5.0 it comes with a utility called Ghost Surf that is special edition pre-reg'd with the Suite package, but it blows away all pop-up and ANYTHING else that might cause a problem when surfing, I use it when I know I am not going to sites that use pop-ups, it prevents anything hazardous to your PC from making it to you.

Also THe System Suite comes with a grea Firewall program and unlimited Anti-virus program (no yearly fee nonsense), I was stunned, I paid $40 for 5.0 @Best Buy it has a new owner it was so good, used to be Ontrack, and I had bought 4.0 and 3.0 for $60 and $70. check it out at:

Simply the best all around utils suite compatible with all the windows flavors.
and 5.0 comes with extra free utils like their very good file manager called: Power Desk Pro 5.0

Can't recommend this suite enough!

Skip greedy Norton, buy this instead. I recall that Norton's so called suite caused systems to slow down and even crash, I have long since given up on them, and no need for yearly anti-virus pay, and this one updates anti-virus just like the re-pay ones.
