UB $.25/$.50 no-limit table.
I have just showed up at the table, and am on my second hand in the small blind.
I have Kd 5h. The table folds to the button who calls, I complete, and the BB checks.
Stack sizes: I have $50, BB has almost $200, and the button has $50 as well.
The flop comes: Qc Kc 5c
I have top and bottom pair on a single suited board. I doubt that anyone hits their flush, but I go for a check, hoping to check raise. The BB bets $1.50 (pot button bet), the button calls, and I hit the pot button for a raise to $7.50. BB folds, button calls.
I don't think the button has a flush, but possibly one club.
Turn: [Qc Kc 5c] As
I hit the bet pot button again ($18) and the button calls.
River: [Qc Kc 5c As] 7h
I still think I am likely ahead and try to induce a bluff here. It works, the button goes all-in, and I call.
How did I play this? Results to follow.
