Now that the OIC is officially over, having ended at 23:59 on Sunday night, we think it's appropriate to offer one last round of congratulations and thanks.

First, congratulations once again to StoneAge for being first past the $2k mark, and also to rigoletto for joining him there. Kudos also to the late charges from Jpolin, Sherriff Fatman, ajizzle and CrackerZack, who all made it past $1k and managed to stay there.

Well done also to all the players who managed to make it beyond their usual limits and into new territory. The event was designed to give players risk-free experience beyond their normal game, and from what we can see many players managed to succeed in this regard.

Thanks once again to Jason and Mike for their assistance and advice behind the scenes regarding the event itself, as well as to Cup for helping resolve all the issues around the RAF bonuses.

Our gratitude also goes to everyone who endured, with much patience and understanding, various problems and issues, and especially to those of you who made constructive comments and criticisms.

We’re particularly grateful to those of you who made positive comments in support of our efforts to host the OIC, resolve any problems as they arose and otherwise participate meaningfully on the board. While this has been a fun and learning experience for us, without the support that many of you gave us it would have been a lot harder for us to come out in one piece.

In closing, good luck to StoneAge and rigoletto – we’re expecting lots of action in their HU LHE match tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 6PM EST. Good luck also to those of you who will be playing in the OIC TYVM HU NL Invitational – we’re looking forward to the event and we hope you are too.
