Button had QQ and took it down
SB had KK

Both seemed to play it super passively

Me,
Damn, what is it with everyone limping with high pairs lately? I am running into this more and more lately. Not sure why this is, but I have a theory /images/graemlins/smirk.gif. Seems like this is part of the evolution that people go through. After playing for awhile they start to doubt the value of high pocket pairs because they get sucked out on frequently. If I didn't have poker tracker telling me I win with AA around 65% I would swear they lost more than 50% of the time. It is easier to remember the bad beats rather than focusing on how profitable these hands really are.

I completely agree. This isnt the first time I've caught people limping with high PPs especially aces. All week I've been trying making the mistake of calling down too many hands b/c people have been limping with their high pockets. I guess its a blessing in disguise
