Partypoker 1/2.
i am first one in with QJo, LP raises, everyone folds to me, i call. i had taken some notes on this guy earlier, and he will bet AA VERY strong, will bet flop with AK shorthanded, but once called all the way to river with QQ after 3-betting preflop, when board was not threatening. flop comes 2 4 7 rainbow. I bet into him...what would you do?

by the way, i bet he folded and for some reason announced he had AK

I know it isn't the question, but how about folding this preflop?

I would check fold in this situation. A second choice is to checkraise, and lead out on the turn.

If you bet, and are called, or bet and are raised, what are you going to do.

He either lied, or sets new standards for weak tight.

Bob's right. Muck QJo preflop. It's a trash hand that's never playable from EP, and rarely playable from MP or LP. I don't think I'd ever recommend limping with it. I always either raise or fold it.

i figured him for being a tight player which is why i did it...but you were right in your other post, i probably should have mucked it preflop
