I was recently in a $3 rebuy satellite entry tourney at UB. This was my first rebuy tourney and I reaped some good rewards off the chaos for the rebuy time period. Rebought once and ending up with around 11k chips (closest person was 5k on our table) when the add-on period came up.
My question is when to take the add-on. I didn't take one since I had a pretty good chip lead and didn't think another 1k chips would make too much of a difference (which worked since I wound up in 11th place with a satellite entry).
Are there any rules / suggestions to take an add-on? Should I have taken it no matter what?
