Gomez had either a King or a heart.

It's not Gomez. I guess I can give a hint to who it is since he promises to explain his thinking in this forum. He's not my favorite zoo poster by a long way. I can't wait to hear the explanation, because I would not have played the hand the way he did.

what was the action on river?? If there was action on river I am guessing TT had AK or maybe AQ and was getting tricky and missed the turn checkraise.

No action on river - he had two cards.

Two Two = TT right?

Oh, I'm sorry, there was no action on the river, checked through. We been chatting about this hand and we both agree no one will guess what he has. Here's a hint : he thinks I'll be a 30-1 favorite once I reveal what he had.

Yeah, I actually picked 22 to mean 2 + 2 poster, but I usually call him TT.

Why did it have to be me? I don't play at true, but I am wondering... Should I be honored by this? Or offended???

I think you will be offended when you see what he had.

A Pair of 4's

I'm guessing Thomastem had pocket 2's, with one of them being a heart. Hence, the 22 in your post... double meaning..... very sneaky, but behold the wisdom of Gomez, for this riddle is solved!

Not even close (well there is one way to look at it that is close).

Cause you wear 22. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif Do not feel honored or offended, I thought of you because of your log in.

You got it. He had all the As. I'm really looking forward to the promised explanation.

Let's see. I bet you would have 3-bet pre-flop and bet all streets. What else?

Clinically insane? Daydreaming? Likes you so much, couldn't stand the thought of taking more of your money? Just plays because he likes the way the cards look?

Pretty close. If I were TT I might try for a checkraise on the flop if anyone capped it. The real me would probably just call with JJ though, so I guess you nailed it. BTW I'm going to post a few more hands today, and the plan was that TT, Husker (who showed up late) and I would all play at a table together and then post a few hands (he said he would probably post on Monday). I'm going to post a few more hands in a few minutes. TT actually played well (this hand was an exception). I won about $45. He started with fewer chips than I did and ended up with more. He must have won more than $90. This is the only time I've ever played at a table with him. He also lasted longer than I did in the last tourney. He is obviously the better poker player. So I figure fair odds would make me a 3:2 dog. Anyone want to put up $60 against my $40?

He missed on a lot of checkraises. Sometimes players are too tricky for their own good.

I just got a PM and TT has changed his mind about explaining his thinking. The only clue he gives is that he put me strongly on KK.

That makes his play even more horrible.

Yeah, I hope he changes his mind and comes back to explain his thinking. I've been trying not to mean too mean to him (and I promise I won't be mean if he posts) to encourage him. Really there has only been one mean post in this thread.
