i normally don't play this hand so early but, i was reviewing the preflop section of hpfap and to my surprise it says its playable.

party 2/4 dont remember table texture but i assume it was typical

i limp utg with Q /images/graemlins/club.gif T /images/graemlins/club.gif
mp1 limps, mp2 raises, sb and big blind call
5 to the flop for 5 bb's.

Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4 /images/graemlins/club.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif
mp2 bets, big blind and i call. 6.5 big bets

7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
mp2 bets, big blind and i call. 9.5 big bets

9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
its checked around and i win the hand.

First the limp is ok on a passive table.

On this flop, check raise, raise and reraise. You have top pair, somewhat OK kicker, and a redraw to the flush. If your not best now you have at least 12 ways your going to be.

Notice how much better this hand plays in late position; at the least you don't miss the river bet.

You need to be assertive with the two way hands [] can easily be the best hand right now [] can easily outdraw the best hand [] looks good strategically and ballances other sorts of bets/raises. If you DO raise the flop, the worst that happens in MP2 raises the turn with his AQ and you put in double bets drawing to 12 outs. That's no disaster.

Don't wait until your pretty sure you have the best hand to raise.

Raise the flop and bet when they check to you on the turn.

As it was, you should've bet the river.
