Party Poker 0.50/1 (10 handed)
TheRake has Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif and is CO

EP2 limps, MP1 raises, TheRake 3-bets, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, EP2 calls, MP1 calls

Flop(10 SB): J/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif

EP2 checks, MP1 checks, TheRake bets, EP2 calls, MP1 calls

Turn(12 BB): 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif

EP2 checks, MP1 checks, TheRake bets, EP2 calls, MP1 calls

River(15 BB): 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif

EP2 checks, MP1 checks, TheRake checks

EP2 turns over K /images/graemlins/heart.gifK /images/graemlins/club.gif

I probably made a mistake by not betting this river here, but I just didn't have a good feeling about it.

Never ceases to amaze me how passive some of these players are.

BTW this guy eventually lost all his money.

What's the lesson, not to check the river when you have a incredibly easy value bet?

I think the lesson is "Don't post hands to highlight other people's mistakes when you made a mistake yourself."

Thats kinda harsh, I mean technically he did make the right play, he saved a bet. Don't you have to go with your gut sometimes? Maybe he had a subconcious read that the guy was a p*ssy and might have KK or something /images/graemlins/smile.gif

9 times out of 10 you will win this hand, and many of those times you will collect an extra BB.

Guts? I think he needs to get some guts and bet his hand. He already admitted he made an error. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Seriously, this is an easy value bet and you are costing yourself big time if you don't make it.

The way EP2 played this hand I`d put him on AK or QQ. Or?

And I forgot about AQ. Very true.

So limp preflop followed by check-calls the whole way = QQ or AK?

MP I figure has either AK or AQ
EP I would have put on KT or some other random hand you are way ahead of.
