I plan on playing tomorrow nights NL tourney at Foxwoods. If you plan on being there let me know and we can meet up and say hi. I plan on wearing a Canada t-shirt and I always have a $2 Canadian Toonie coin on my cards.

For the regulars, Is 5:00 p.m. early enough to arrive to be able to play?

I won't be there this week. Need a week to unwind but if you get there at 5:00 you should be fine. Don't stand in line though since registration doesn't open until 6:00. Get a number from them and that will reserve you a seat. Once you get the number you can go play in a live game or do whatever. Just make sure you're back in line by 6:45. After that time, they won't honor your number.

Good Luck. First prize has been averaging over 13K.

Ken,

Sorry I won't be there tonight to say hi. It's my daughter's birthday, so we're taking her out to her favorite restaurant.

As for 5:00, that's going to be much earlier than I suspect you need. Attendance was averaging about 200, but since the WPF just completed, I suspect a lot of regulars are going to be burned out a bit and now attend. Especially among those many who drive in from 1-2 hours away.

I would bet that you can show up at 7:55 and get in. Of course, I've got nothing to lose on that bet. As Toro said, show up early, get a line number, and then you can win your buy-in and rebuys in a cash game while waiting for 6:00 to roll around.

Hope your daughter has a good birthday. Atleast the tourney will be slightly easier tonight although Mrytle is planning on playing. I should be at Foxwoods once more before I leave. Likely thursday night.

I already planned to leave a bit early today and no reason to change that!

I have lived in the US for almost 15 years now. And I would be pissed if it was 13k Canadian!

You mentioned the $2 Toonie and I just assumed you still lived north of the border. Just a bad attempt at humor, hope you weren't offended.

Wasn't offended in the least bit. Proud to be Canadian. I just like the US dollar.

Good, good. Hope you take home a bunch of $100 Benjamins. Oh shoot, that was redundant!
