I am sorry and know this is off topic, but has anyone seen recent profit reports from ebay?
This company's revenue was 1.21 billion dollars for fiscal 2002. Of that a billion dollars was pure profit!
The sheer magnatude of the money they are making is simply amazing. It just goes to show how much profit can be made via the internet.
Who would have thought, some person with a Computer and an idea would have created a "virtual" company making billions of dollars per year, for simply hosting other peoples products.
In reality all they do is provide a platform for the products. The user has to do everything. It is just the computers at ebay that list the item. Ebay's over head is virtually nothing. Sorry for the pun. Simply unreal.
