I don't play many sit&gos - I haven't played one for months. I played 3 today and came in 1st, 3rd, and 4th. I think I screwed up big time in the one where I finished 4th.

Here's the situation.

No Limit $30+3 on Party Poker
4 players remaining.
The blinds are 200 and 400.
After posting the blinds, I have T755, the SB has T100, UTG has T5105 and the Button has T1740.

I have 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif in the BB

UTG makes it 400, button fold and SB folds

Now, I'm thinking that I should fold here and just wait for the SB to bust out. But the ring game player in me wants to play. Plus I felt I had a good chance to pick up some chips and do better than 3rd place.

What should I do here? I called.

Flop was: 4 /images/graemlins/club.gif3 /images/graemlins/club.gif2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I bet all-in (555), UTG calls.

Turn is 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif, River is K /images/graemlins/heart.gif

UTG knocks me out with KJo.

Should I just fold myself into the money?

I would fold. It's just too likely that the T100 guy will bust out, and your chances of winning 1st are not very high. Furthermore, 77 is just not that strong of a hand when you've been raised into. You're basically a coin flip against any two overcards, and you just don't have any real expectation advantage in playing this hand.
