At least that is what it feel like to me when you have KK and that damn Ace flops.

Party 2/4

On the button with K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif K /images/graemlins/club.gif

EP3 Limps, MP2 Raises, CO Cold Calls, I 3 Bet, All Call

Flop A /images/graemlins/club.gif, 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif - Not the flop of my dreams

Checked to me, I Bet, All Call

Turn J /images/graemlins/spade.gif

Checked to me, I Bet, EP Calls, MP Calls, CO Checkraises, I Fold, Others Call

River 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

It is Checked Through

On the turn I thought about checking behind. I decided against it for two reasons. I could have the best hand, and I rather have the free showdown. Thoughts on the turn fold? Comments appreciated.

Hi TJ,

I would have played it the same way that you did. I would've bet the Turn to charge the Flush draws and single small pairs, and then hope to get a free showdown. I would have also folded to the check-raise.

Looks good to me. Sometimes they all have smaller pocket pairs and you win, sometimes they checkraise you on the turn, and then you usually don't.
