A few of us entered into the OIC came up with a question.......

Say you're at a $238 OIC bakroll (2/4 tables), but there are either no players or all 2/4 limit tables are full(or only short handed tables are available, and you don't like playing short-handed). Are you allowed to go to 1/2 and play? AND.... If so, if you reach $300, the limit for 3/6, are you then allowed to go on to 3/6?

I think someone asked this a few days ago and the answer was that you had to stay in your designated limit.

Unfortunately I doubt anyone foresaw the lack of players at certain limits.

I don't see why not. The levels are up, if you have to move down due to game availability, so be it.

I don't remember the question being asked or answered, could you point me at it?

Its a thread dated 6th November called OIC rule question. Question was asked by rigoletto.

I'm not sure how to link it so if someone can then please do so (I'm technically inept as far as this site goes!)

I have founbd that when there are no tables, i sti down at an empty 10 seat one. i may have to play heads up for a few minutes, but soon the table is full. it takes around 30 minutes, 20 of which are actually waiting for one person to show up.

I had the same problem and was told to just sit down at a table and it would fill: and it works!

OIC doesn't make sense if you are allowed to play below your current limit. One of the hard parts of the competition is that you are in fact playing underbankrolled all the time but this is also what makes it interesting.
