Recently in SnG single table tournament....I was heads up against another player and he asserted that my 7d8d had NO value heads up...Is he right..?

He's an idiot. Although they don't have much value in a situation where the hand is definitely going to the river.

No he is not, but he is rigth that suited cards go down in value heads up.

No. 87s is only slightly worse than an evens chance (48.2%) against a random hand.

medium suited connectors... raise em' and play agressive with them on hot flops... but don't call with them heads up they aren't that valuable.

Paradox:

Side 1: suited connectors go very far down in value when heads up.

Side 2: The best hand to play with against AA heads up is mid-suited connectors, such as 87s.

I'll leave it to others to dissect and discuss.
