First set of blinds just passed, 3rd hand at 3/6 table...

I've on button and have: J /images/graemlins/heart.gif J /images/graemlins/spade.gif

Folded to MP, who calls, CO calls, I raise, SB calls, BB folds, MP calls, CO calls.

FLOP: 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif

SB bets, folded to me, I raise, he 3-bets, I call.

TURN: 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

SB bets, I fold.....

Good lay-down?

I think you can lay it down on the flop to the 3-bet unless the SB is a maniac.

If he's an idiot he called with QQ pre-flop. If he's a solid player he was probably limping in with KK or AA from EP. Or he could also have trip 7s or even trip 2s.

I would lay down JJ to all but the very worst beginners.

After this hand I caught SB bluffing , so he was capable of muckering me......

You should've folded to the flop 3-bet. Getting 14:1 on your call closing the flop action isn't enough to take one off if you plan on folding the turn without hitting your 2-outer.

Bad flop call. Good turn fold.
