Automatic card shufflers

Has anyone used one of these? Do they do an acceptable job or just a novelty?

I was thinking about swapping decks each hand, so at the end of each hand there is a freshly shuffled deck ready to deal out. Seems like it could save time.

These shufflers do not do an acceptable job. Then again, neither do players in a home poker game. But I would advise not using one of these automatic shufflers.

I got one of these as a joke gift at some point. Its a piece of crap, wasn't expecting much and it delivered less.

I try and run 2-decks when we play. It generally does the job.

We looked into a pro one like they use in vegas for our card club - We stopped when we found out they are $20,000!!!
