I believe here is a situation that often come up when you try to "steal" the blinds...the blinds plays back, and you floped a medium strong hand... here it is:

20-40, blinds are loose.
I have QcTc at the bottom, all fold to me, I raise. Small blind has win some big pots, and feels like "playing with other people's money" now, he 3 bets immediately, BB folds, I call.

SB bets in the dark, I dont put him on a very big hand, the fast action indicates he is weak, I believe.

Flop: Ac 9d 2c, gives me a flush draw...

Question, call or raise? I eh... called,
Turn Qh, he checks... confirmed that he is weak... I eh... checked....

Rivers 4c, completes the flush, he folded to my bet.

The more I think about it, the more I feel puzzled. What do you think? What is the raise on the flop try to accomplish? to get a free card? Given that he is weak... but how weak? this probabilty is so puzzling.

I think call is not mistaken, the question is whether raise is better....

Hello Soon,
It's coming right up... anytime now....
Hello.

I think given your description of your opponent's desire to 'play with other people's money', that you can play this a little differently against him for two reasons. First of all, he probably has you on a steal for obvious reasons, and second, he may not have much of anything because he just wants to play.

So, I think the call on the flop is fine.
On the turn, I'd raise if he bets, or bet if he checks.
And on the river, well obviously it's a bet or raise situation.
