I've been playing the 15/30 and 20/40 games there since Rama dried up.

Generally good games, sometimes turn bad.

Could you guys elaborate on some of these games, and the casino in general? I'm going to be working in Hamilton this summer and I plan to make it to Brantford to do some live playing. What limits do they spread? Are the players generally pretty crappy or should I watch out? Thanks a lot for any input.

The 5/10 and 20/40+ games are soft if you're a good player (i.e. a winning player at 5/10 and above online).

The 10/20 for some reason is really tough. Mostly locals who just can't afford bigger limits, which is populated mainly by Torontonians looking to gamble...

I was only there once. The lowest limit is 5/10 with $5 rake. There was a mix of good players and bad players at my table. For instance, there was one guy who threw in three straight blind raises before the cards were dealt...those are the kind of people you want to have sitting with you...wait for a hand and then crush them.

The card room was packed. This was a Sat afternoon, when I arrived at noon every table was full and there were 13 people on the wait list for 5/10. They opened another table so my overall wait was about 30 min before I got to sit down.

I have played there a couple of times. The 5/10 was an average game, not too tough, not easy. I was about even after 10 hours or so. There was one big game going on, I think was 30/60. Was a wild game, loose agressive, huge pots. I was tempted to sit in, but it was a bit much for my bankroll.
