I played this hand in a very straightforward manner. Should I get tricky and try to win more bets?

UTG limps, MP2 raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP2 caps, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG calls

Flop(16.4 SB): 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

BB checks, UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG calls, MP2 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG calls, MP2 calls

Turn(14.2 BB): 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

UTG checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, MP2 calls

River(17.2 BB): 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif

This is actually a situation where you should call the flop 3-bet and raise the turn. It seems the MP has JJ+ and is quite an aggressive player. If you know he'll bet out on th turn when undercards hit, then you can raise it up here.

Slowplaying a hand like this requires a read of the opponents hands, here, I think you have a good read.
