I am in a 100 dollar tourney middle stages . My stack is about 7000 , average about 5500. There is about 28 players
left . We have all been playing just a few hands together
so we don`t know eachother. I am in cut-off and everyone folds to me, blinds 200-400. I get AK suited and go all-in.
Everyone folds to the big blind who after some hesitation calls (He has 6500 in chips) . He shows AT suited. He hits a T and wins.GRRR
How would you have played it?

I'm not sure that betting 17.5BB pre-flop is a great move with any hand but... you got called by a hand you dominated (hurray) and got unlucky (D'oh).
Obviously his call with ATs is really, really poor.

all-in with this hand is a little heavy. even though you are happy to encourage hands like TT to fold, you're risking a lot to win a little, which is not good in a tournament.

i think a raise to maybe 1200 pre-flop would get the job done, and if you are reraised you can think about how aggressive your opponent is before deciding whether to call.
