So I built my own table a while back, and I'm stilll trying to find the right fabric to cover the playing surface. Felt eventually gets little fuzzies, and the cards don't slide. I've currently got headliner on it, but that's still not very slick/ The one casino I've played in is the Grand in Biloxi, and they have a great fabric covering their tables. It's a synthetic that looks like 1/4-inch strands of nylon all standing straight up. The table feels like it's got a crew-cut, and the cards just slide right along.

Is this a common table covering? Anybody know where a person can get some of that stuff?
