A $1,251 pot at 15/30
The canine limps utg w/KcJc, flops nut str8 and it holds up.

Board: [ Qs As Th 7d Qd ]

How does the pot get so big? Lets See:
Pollyguru raises after 2 limpers w/K6s. He raises flop w/flush draw and caps it when it comes back around. He also bets the river as a bluff.

Vondie calls raise from SB w/Qh9h. Gets into trouble by calling 4 bets on flop w/middle pair bad kicker into both str8 and flush draws.

Donald33 has KQo and pays a lot into the AQ10 2 suited flop.

MT_Maverick pays $204 and fold on the river.

OMG!...in a 15/30 game??? What a nice feeling, having everyone bet your hand for you. All you had to do was sit there and start counting your money every time someone put a chip in /images/graemlins/grin.gif

The Q on the river caused a little catch in the throat though huh? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Someone stake Homer for 15/30, please!

how about this for an idea?

we get ten zoot-suits to play a $100+$10 special tourney at TGC or somewhere - the winner gets $1000

he then takes back his $100 out of his winnings and funds Homer to play the 15/30 with the remaining $900

at the end of the day let's say Homer has $2000

he sends $200 each to the ten zoot-suits (one of the suits is Homer himself, of course)

so everyone has played a $100 tourney for free and ended the day with $100 profit for nothing

except the free-tourney winner who has ended the day with $200 profit for nothing

at the very worst, if Homer loses it all,(highly unlikely), the nine zoot-suits have played a $100 tourney and lost, and the one tourney winner has broken even

and think of the interest from the rail

flawless

Edit:

to add co-operative spice, each day/week/whatever the player taking the $900 to the table could be changed - Homer today, Havabanana tomorrow, and so on

Sounds like a great idea that I could be interested in.
I havent played much 15-30 or bigger, due to the fact that I don't like the swings in my bankroll.
What if we play a limit tourney or a private table, and the winner gets to play the 15-30? then noone can complain, cause they could have won it themselves /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Winner gets his 100 back, and put's in his time at the 15-30 for a 10th of the 900+winnings.
I would not mind having me EV go down some since the Experience of playing higher limit is worth something to me personally.
With a bankroll of 900 I suggest we choose a 10 player table 15-30.

Of course I also have a chance getting to 15-30 in the OIC! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
