Good story, are there more posts? If so do you have a link? Thanks.

i poked over to RGP for the first time a few months ago and found post after post after post by russ georgiev (sp?) and people claming to be him and people claiming that they were him and the other posters were imposters. (sorry for the run-on). anyway, who is this guy and what the heck is the point of all his posts? was he part of some poker cheat club or something?

clueless,
tpir

I'm not sure who he is, but I know he's one of the reasons I don't go there a whole lot.

that was my take on it as well. i went there thinking i would get to see hand analysis done by lederer, etc. but instead there were 10 million posts about who was and who wasn't this guy and how much everyone doesn't understand the dark underside of vegas, etc.

bottom line: i love this site /images/graemlins/smile.gif

He's been posting (a lot) over at rgp for about 2 & 1/2 years. He tells some untruths. He tells some truths. Trying to tell which is which is not always easy. btw, Mike Caro introduced him to rgp and it's never been the same since. Ended up being Caro's biggest nightmare.

My sources tell me most (but not all) of his LA (Cali) stuff is
spot on. Most (but not all) of his Vegas info is shall we say, not exactly true.

Best of Luck

I hear that Stu Ungar's roomate, Oscar Madison, was a better player than Stu.
