Who else is planning on playing in this? Do you think I should try and arrive before 9 to get a spot in it or will I be fine at 9am?

Get there early. The no limit event on Monday drew over 800 people.

People started getting online at 7 am Monday for the tournament.

Why don't they allow early sign up?

They open the registration three hours before the event.

Will they close registration at a certain limit of players or time? I don't want to get down there around 9am and have them already be full

I was planning on playing, but I was going to arrive around 8:00.

Does anyone have any idea how long the tournament will last?

By 9:00 the line might get so long you cannot guarantee yourself a seat.

Call the Foxwoods and ask for the tournament area. They can give more useful information than I can.

How did any 2+2ers do?

I got there around 7:30 and there were about 50 people in the registration line. Thereafter it didn't appear to be a wait. I think the final count was 528 players. I busted out around 220. Each player started with T1,000. The blinds went as follows and increased every 40 minutes.

1. 25/25
2. 25/50
3. 50/75
4. 50/100
5. 75/150
6. 100/200

No bad beat stories, just bad cards. In the first 2 hours I played 3 hands outside of the blinds. ATs, AJs, JJ. AT I folded after the flop AJ and JJ won a couple of minor pots. I was up to T1,600 after the first break. Overplayed one hand that cost me T300, had AK twice and both lost. I was down to about 600 chips with AKo UTG and the blinds were 100/200. Had to make a move. I raised and got 2 callers. Flop came 222. I bet (puts me all in), one player calls. We turn over our cards, he has KTo, and catches the 10 on the river and I'm out just before the 2nd break. I found the games I was in to be loose/passive with the last table I was at being a little tighter and more aggressive. I don't know any of the 2+2ers so I don't know who was there or how well they did.
