View Full Version : nine handed play

I recently moved to California and am not accustomed to playing nine handed as the games are out here. I'm used to playing in ten handed games and am curious as to see what if any adjustments I need to make. (ie. play more A,x hands? K,x suited?) Any comments on this are welcome, also they automatically drop one dollar on any action at all preflop so should I try to steal less blinds than I normally do (which is not very often) By the way I play primarily 8-16 hold em, three dollar drop and I try to play tight aggressive.

9 handed holdem is just like 10 handed holdem when UTG folds.

Yes, the risk/reward ratio is less favorable for stealing.
