7-Stud Hi-Lo question

The way 7-stud hilo is played at the Bellagio, is there a qualifier for low? And who opens, highest card showing or lowest card showing? Is it the same in every round?

8 qualifier for low. this way people can play both types of hands. low needs to bring it in so as an ace doesnt shut down the action. after third street it is high bets. only change from seven stud is that on fourth street an open pair cant bet the double bet.

They are dealing stud8 at Bellagio now??! How long has this been going on and what are the stakes??

I'll be out in late August and I'm looking for a mid stakes stud8 game so any other suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks for answering Ray. I asked this question mainly because mix games in tourneys seem to be gearing up for an upswing. And I'm also reading the stud section of your Hilo split book for the very first time since I bought it right after it was first published. I've read the omaha section a few dozen times.
