I've been playing on-line NLHE tourneys for about six months now and know that my biggest (the word gaping comes to mind) hole is my inability to solidly put an opponent on a hand.
I've read many helpful posts about the process, and normally have a pretty logical train of thought, but it all seems to escape during the play. The range of possibilities always seems wide open to me and I know I have a tendency to put people on a hand that justifies my calling or raising.
I've had some decent results due to better play in other parts of my game, but I don't think I can get better without improving my hand reading.
Are there others of you out there who started with a similar problem and overcame it? Any hints on how you conquered it would be appreciated.
