I have been doing more thinking and mathematic figuring about poker lately. I've also started using Turbo Texas Holdem to try and figure out different thing.

My main question is about flush draws. I tried plugging in the numbers and it looks like you'll get a flush draw about
1 in every 27.5 hands. That is EVERY time you have 2 suited cards, you'll get two more of the same suit on the flop.
Are my numbers accurate or did I miss something?
I did the math like this.

hit-hit-miss 11/50*10/49*39/48 =.0364
hit-miss-hit 11/50*39/49*10/48 =.0364
miss-hit-hit 39/50*11/49*10/48 =.0364

Also, for anyone that uses Turbo Texas, which profile would you use for the "hero" when simulating a lot of hands?

I started a sim with the low limit table setup but need a better choice for the hero.

I actually did the sim twice. ATos UTG vs a low limit table. First time was with a low limit profile in the hero spot. He lost -.77 per hand. I switched him out with Bret Maverick and ran the sim again. He only lost -.55 per hand.
Guess that means ATos UTG is a money loser.

well, you will get each of those situations about once in 27.5 hands. so you will get a flush draw about once in 9.2 overall. you will also flop a flush a little less than 1% of the time.

Thank you for your reply. I totally forgot that each of the three possibilities were separate.
