This was a loose and mostly passive 3/6 game in a nearby casino. There is usually a wait here, and I made my way to this table after observing the play during my wait. I saw lots of calling, very little raising and garbage on the showdowns. Good, I think.

Hand 1:
I have AKd in LP. 3 limpers. I raise. BB calls. limpers call.

Flop is Ah QS 4d. Checked to me, I bet. 2 limpers call.
Turn is 4c. Checked to me, I bet. 2 limpers call.
River is something. Limpers check. I bet. 1 limper calls and she has AQ.

Hand 2:Hand 1:[
I have AdAh in CO. 4 limpers. I raise. Button folds, SB completes, BB and limpers call.

Flop is 2 7 7 rainbow. Checked to me, I bet. SB and 2 limpers call.
Turn is something. Checked to me, I bet. SB and limpers call.
River is 2. SB bets, limpers fold. 2 pair on the board, I just call. SB has K2o.

Hand 3:
I have 2 red J's in MP. 2 limpers. I raise. CO and Button cold call. SB calls, BB folds, limpers call.

Flop is 3 rainbow cards 9 or less. Checked to me, I bet. CO folds, button calls. Limpers call.
Turn pairs the board. Checked to me, I bet. All call.
River is a blank. Checked to me, I bet. Button calls. Limpers fold. Button has AA!

So, please point out my mistakes. According to TOP, HFAP, Psychology of Poker, 2+2 advice, etc, I will profit when my opponents make mistakes and I don't. Maybe it was just a bad session?

Thanks,
bdy

You did profit. You saved several big bets on these hands, and probably several others that you didn't know about.

Thanks. That's basically what I figured....

Otherwise, is there anything I could have done to combat the slow playing in Hand 1 and Hand 3? I think a C/R may have been possible in Hand 3, but the CO and button had proven themselves so passive, I didn't trust either of them to bet.

Passive slow play seems common in these games, especially with an opponent who has trips or 2 pair, so I've been reading Schoonmaker's Psychology of Poker and HFAP in an effort to adjust my play. Any other tips are appreciated.

I'm just going to write off Hand 2. It's funny though, that my opponent in this hand called his way from 1 rack to 5 racks in the course of the session... Won't mind if he's at the table in the future.

Didn't mean for this to be a bad beat post. I was down a few bets when the card room closed, but I did have to appreciate the table.
