SB, I limp with 76s and 5 to the flop, including me at a 3/6 game at casino arizona. Flop comes T94 rainbow(one of my suit).

I check, BB checks, Bet, call call. 8 to 1 to me. With 12 to 1 to catch the straight, do you call? I think I had implied odds, but with 4 others in, there is a chance I'm drawing dead against QJ. I call.

Turn, 8 for the dumb end of the straight. I know I can get a checkraise in here, and most of them will call, justifying my flop call. Do you checkraise or bet out to see if QJ is there? I checked, BB bet (perfect) and everyone called in between. I checkraised and all called.

River Q, AARGH!! now I check with the intention of calling one bet. now, if the BB bets out, and there's 1 or 2 callers, assuming loose passive players...do you call? I think pot odds justifies a call.

It's checked around and my straight is good. WHEW!

fold. when you are drawing to the idiot end of the straight like this, you should be looking for better than 11:1 odds to call, not worse. your implied odds are easily negated by the fact that you can be drawing dead or get redrawn on.

yeah, I was thinking that when I called, I knew i probably shouldn't have. and then I hit, and was happy that I called...then the river made me think I shouldn't have again. haha thanks for the input

Ya... go ahead and fold. Your hand has no value beyond the gutshot, the pot is small, and you are out of position.
