What is the best image for a high low split pot game with no declaration?

I have played at least half a million hands of hilo stud online and off, and find that it is the least image conscious game of all. With the competition between hi and lo and the possibility of the "whipsaw" of getting caught in the middle on the turn, or sixth street and again on the river, there are so few situations where image means much.

However, depending if a spread limit or structured, it can matter that you are known as one who will not stop betting the max as opposed to someone who will try to slowplay a big starter...the few hilo spread limit games are so different from limit games, it is fun to watch the players who think they know hilo when they first hit a spread limit game...

Perhaps the best situation for "image" is in the strange hilo stud game found recently at the Twin Palms in Vegas...I happen to know a couple of the regulars, and it is one of the friendliest cutthroat situations of all time...Tourists come to town thinking they know the game, and get slaughtered almost every time. The locals have three variations of the 2-20 spread limit and the intricacies of each game almost always escape the newbie. The newbie will win pot after pot, feel he is invincible and get carted out on a huge pot where the nuts are hidden.
